Tucked away in the heart of central London, the Corinthia Hotel is simply breathtaking. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a sense of luxury that’s hard to describe—it’s just immaculate from floor to ceiling. The marble floors sparkle, the chandeliers cast the perfect glow, and the attention to detail is next level. Honestly, this hotel takes luxury to new heights. It’s no wonder they’ve won countless awards, including this year’s Best Urban Spa Hotel for 2024. If you’re looking for a place where every corner is polished to perfection, Corinthia is that place. You’ll be blown away!

First Impressions
Arriving at the Corinthia London is an experience in itself. The hotel’s charm begins the moment you are greeted by impeccably dressed doormen in morning suits and top hats, ready to whisk your luggage to your room. Stepping inside, you’re met by an awe-inspiring floral display in the center of the reception hall—an extravagant arrangement that changes daily, weekly, and seasonally. During our visit, we were lucky enough to witness their stunning autumn display, filled with warm, cozy tones, pumpkins, and twinkling tea lights, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
The hotel boasts its very own in-house florist, whose creations can be admired as you make your way to the North Hall Bar. The air is filled with the divine fragrance of fresh flowers, which are such good quality.
The front desk service was equally remarkable. We were warmly escorted to our room, given a tour of the hotel so we wouldn’t lose our way, and found our luggage already neatly laid out for us when we returned. After settling in, we prepared for our lunch reservation at The Garden restaurant, excited to experience even more of what the Corinthia has to offer.

“A brand new world of wellness” – as their website promises, and they are not exaggerating. The Spa at Corinthia is truly a sanctuary of serenity. Spanning four floors of pure bliss, it’s hard to believe this peaceful haven exists in the heart of bustling London, where the gloomy skies and endless crowds can feel overwhelming. But once you step inside, you’re instantly transported to another dimension, a space that strikes the perfect balance between cozy, luxurious, peaceful, and quiet.
The Spa Lounge offers an array of nourishing food and drinks, all crafted by Executive Chef André Garrett in collaboration with renowned nutritional therapist Eve Kalinik. The menu is thoughtfully designed to support gut health, detoxify the body, and boost the immune system. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh juices, smoothies, or even a glass of champagne for an extra touch of indulgence, there’s something for everyone.
My personal favorite was the Thermal Floor, a heavenly retreat featuring:

• Amphitheatre sauna
• Steam room
• Jacuzzi
• Therapeutic heated lounges
• Swimming pool
The gym is also exceptional, equipped with top-notch machines and offering personal training sessions led by expert coaches from AMP (Athletic Medical Performance). Although I didn’t have time to experience the gym during our weekend stay due to a packed schedule, its reputation is impeccable.
And I could go on, there’s also an entire floor dedicated to treatments, and the David Galvin hair salon, which, for those unfamiliar, is run by a renowned celebrity hairstylist. I’m certain the services here are second to none. The reception area is equally stunning, with beautifully curated skincare and wellness products lining the walls.
The changing rooms, though, were the real highlight for me! I have never seen such extravagant facilities. There’s always herbal tea and infused water to help yourself to, along with the freshest fruits and delicious snacks. They even have heated loungers for you to relax in. And as if that wasn’t enough, both the ladies’ and gentlemen’s changing rooms feature their own private sauna and steam room.
To top it all off, there’s an additional lounge area that I’m convinced was a sleeping pod. Each seat was individually curtained for privacy, with a gorgeous fire flickering at the center of the room. It’s truly the epitome of relaxation.
Spa Treatment Experience
I couldn’t resist booking the ESPA Deep Muscle Massage, priced at £250, which included a full-body deep muscle massage (with or without hot stones) and a scalp massage.
The entire experience was phenomenal. The level of care and service made me feel like I was just as important as the wealthiest guest. Although it was a rare treat for me, it felt incredibly special.
My male therapist made sure I was comfortable before we began. After a consultation, the ESPA sensory journey, paired with their luxurious massage oils, took me to a deeply relaxed state. The pressure was perfect, I didn’t want it to end!
Afterward, I chilled in the changing room, relaxing on a heated lounger and took a nap in the sleeping pod before joining my partner for lunch at the spa restaurant was the perfect way to wrap up the experience. The meal, crafted by the talented Eve Kalinik, was both nutritious and delicious, making the entire day feel like a holistic wellness retreat.
The Food
The Corinthia Hotel delivered an unforgettable dining experience. From the first sip to the last bite, every detail was crafted to perfection.
We began with lunch in The Garden, a serene outdoor oasis in the heart of the city. Surrounded by fires and cosy fabrics, it was a peaceful retreat from the urban buzz.
The second evening started with pre-dinner cocktails at The Northall Bar. With its refined ambiance, it was the perfect spot to unwind. The cocktails were artfully crafted, creating an ideal prelude to dinner at The Northall Restaurant. André Garrett’s menu was a masterpiece, the service staff were incredible. I mean look at. that food...
To end the night, we visited Velvet, a Champagne and cocktail bar where Salvatore Calabrese’s creations stole the show. Every sip was a testament to his expertise and added a touch of indulgence to our evening.
The next morning, I indulged in one of my favorite luxuries: In-Room Dining. There’s nothing quite like enjoying breakfast in bed, wrapped in a cozy robe, with coffee in hand, and breathtaking views all to yourself. It was the perfect way to start the day.
Every meal and drink at the Corinthia was an experience in itself, leaving us with memories that will last a lifetime.

If I could give more than five stars, the Corinthia Hotel would be off the charts! from the spotless cleanliness to the gorgeous interior design, it was all pure perfection.
The atmosphere was the perfect mix of luxury and warmth, and the service was next-level, nothing was too much trouble, and they anticipated things I didn’t even know I wanted.
And of course, the spa. Pure bliss. The level of care, the serene environment, and the expertly designed treatments made it a sanctuary of relaxation. Whether you’re seeking indulgence or tranquility, the Corinthia delivers on every level.
Simply put, this hotel is a flawless gem, deserving far more than five stars!
